After reading review on this site we chose to stay at the rose and crown instead of slaley hall. We found it extremely comfortable and good value. Tried the fish and couldn't believe the size. Would reccomend to anyone

I stayed the night at the Rose and Crown on the above date and found it an extremly pleasant public house with superb rooms and delicious food. Several pints fish that was huge and a nicely decorated and comfy bed all for less than 60 pounds bargain
